ANP Report, October 1, 2025

Published: October 1, 2025

Well, the government shutdown has begun. Hopefully they will get busy and at least get that stop gap bill signed that will extend the deadline until November 15. If the Democrats don’t give in, they will be handing Trump the power to fire government workers at will. In a financial emergency like this, the president has the power to allocate whatever funds are available as he sees fit – including the permanent termination of government employees. A lot of people are going to be out of work if the Democrats and the Republicans don’t learn to play nice and get along.

Naturally, both sides are playing the blame game. While they point fingers at each other, the people suffer. The Republicans do make one valid point. The threat of a shutdown has happened four times before under Trump. Every time the Democrats blame him. They say, “He refuses to work with us.” I have a few questions. Why must Trump work with them? Why do they never work with him? Why is Trump expected to bend when the Democrats never do? I blame both sides for this, however, because the Democrats seem to think Trump should bend and not them every single year, it seems to me that the lion’s share of the blame should go to our little Blue friends, the Democrats – especially when one of their demands is Trump should restore healthcare to illegal aliens. They know Trump is not going to do that. Why would he restore heathcare benefits to people he plans on deporting in due time?

Fortunately the people are through with Democrat lies. They know both sides are at fault. They also know that both sides should be willing to bend. They also know this shutdown is an attempt to make Trump unpopular. It doesn’t seem to be working – at least not yet.

You got to hand it to Trump. He’s had a series of lucky breaks not seen since Hitler’s rise to power. Not that I’m comparing Trump to Hitler. It’s just that Hitler had a series of lucky breaks that made his rise to power much easier. Every trick the opposition pulled, backfired and only made both leaders look better.

What we have here with the budget is a game of chicken. All we can do is wait and see which side breaks first. Considering how out of favor the people are with the Democrats, and considering his winning streak, I’d put my money on Trump.

Comrades, this is where I usually put an article by Steve Davenport. Unfortunately, I’m not able to do so, which is why I’m posting this report at the end of the day, rather than at the beginning (Midnight). The ANP recently has had to switch to a new website host. I was told it might affect our official ANP email accounts. Everything was fine with the email until yesterday. After last Midnight, I was unable to access it and all my articles from Comrade Davenport are in various emails he sends me. Until we can get this mess straightened out, I’ll have to omit his article for now. If we get this cleared up soon, I’ll come back here and add it then. Thanks for your understanding.

Well, that’s about all for this report. Stay safe and Hail Victory!
